The Season of Giving Tradition

This year, we're excited to continue our tradition of the Season of Giving!

On Giving Tuesday, we give back to our employees' and customers' most cherished causes and organizations. Every Arkabot and Arkatechture client has the opportunity to select a charitable organization for the company to donate to on their behalf. 

Below is a full list of the 40+ organizations we are donating to this year. Check it out to learn more about the great work these organizations are doing to support their local communities!

  1. 317 Main
    317 Main brings the power of music to people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds from across southern and mid-coast Maine. They were founded in 2004 on the idea that music can engage, vitalize, and strengthen human connections in our communities. They provide music education and connection through music lessons, group classes, jam sessions, ensembles, workshops, summer camps, performances, and more.

  6. Blue Ocean Society
    The Blue Ocean Society strives to Increase the scientific knowledge base of the health, habitat use, population and behavior of whales, which are indicator species in the Gulf of Maine. They document human and environmental impacts on marine life to develop programs to better protect them in the future, and collaborate with the broader scientific community to protect marine life in the Gulf of Maine.

  7. Chesapeake Bay Foundation
    The Chesapeake Bay Foundation is the largest independent conservation organization dedicated solely to saving the bay. Serving as a watchdog, they fight for effective, science-based solutions to the pollution degrading the Chesapeake Bay and its rivers and streams.

  8. Congo Children Trust (Kimbilio)

  13. Fostering Hope of Muskogee
    Fostering Hope is a nonprofit organization founded by Oklahoma citizens with a desire to aid children when they are placed in foster care.

    Fostering Hope supplies each child with an emergency bag we call our #bagfullofhope. Each bag comes with a weeks worth of clothing, shoes and socks, essential toiletries, formula and baby bottle, wipes and diapers, books and bible, age-appropriate toy, new underwear and socks, and handwritten card.

  23. Metro East Humane Society
    The Metro East Humane Society has worked to enrich the lives of people, cats, and dogs in Madison, St. Clair, Jersey, Bond, and Macoupin counties.

    To do this, they operate a no-kill shelter;  provide humane medical treatment, vaccinations, and spay/neuter services; educate adults and youth on the humane treatment of animals; build partnerships with community-based organizations, schools, public institutions, private corporations, and elected officials; and respect the public trust through the proper management of our resources.

    The Sato Project is dedicated to rescuing abused and abandoned dogs from Puerto Rico. There are currently an estimated 500,000 stray dogs roaming the island’s streets and beaches. With no access to food, fresh water, or veterinary care, many of these dogs are living daily lives of severe suffering. The municipal shelter system is drastically overwhelmed, with only five shelters across all 78 of the island’s municipalities. These shelters have a combined euthanasia rate of over 94%. For thousands of stray and abandoned dogs in the area in which we operate, we are their only hope.
