5Point Credit Union Partners with Arkatechture to Enable Historical Data Analysis & Personalize Member Experience

5Point Credit Union has announced a new partnership with Arkatechture. The partnership marks a significant step forward in the credit union’s efforts to build a unified data environment and leverage analytics to improve operational insight and member service.

The relationship began when representatives from 5Point Credit Union attended the 2023 CULytics Conference. “I was invited to attend the CULytics conference in 2023 in Redmond, Washington,” said Jared Byrd, a Business Analyst at 5Point Credit Union.

Arkatechture was there as a vendor. I had the opportunity to meet some of their employees and talk to the team about the way they approach data.” At the time, the credit union was experiencing challenges accessing and connecting data across systems.

Our core system didn't offer us the ability to access historical data from day-to-day, because it was in real time,” Jared explained. “I could pull individual dates but couldn’t efficiently perform a historical analysis. So, I started looking into data warehouses and data analytics. Previously, we had data from several different sources that weren’t connected.

After evaluating multiple vendors over a three-year period, the 5Point Credit Union team selected Arkalytics for its comprehensive approach to data integration and transparent pricing model. What we liked most about Arkatechture was their pricing model in comparison to some of the other vendors we considered. We also liked that the environment is hosted in Snowflake.”

The credit union’s goal for the partnership is to create a single, connected data environment that supports organization-wide decision-making. Having a unified data environment with all of the different sources coming into one place gives us the big picture while allowing us to drill down as needed,” said Jared Byrd. Ultimately, this initiative will strengthen the credit union’s ability to serve their members. “I think this will enable us to give members a more personalized experience outside of what we already do today, and make smarter decisions for them more quickly.
