Going through the AWS Foundational Technical Review allows the identification and remediation of risks in software solutions built in the cloud on Amazon Web Services. The process helps to identify AWS's well-architected best practices. These best practices reduce risks around security, reliability, and operational excellence.

“Getting the AWS foundational technical review is definitely a very important milestone for Arkalytics and its clients. It not only confirms that Arkalytics is built on strong architectural best practices, but also reduces overall risks around security, reliability, and enhances operational excellence. We’re proud to become an AWS Qualified Software!"

-Susmi Sengupta, Chief Technology Officer at Arkatechture

What is the AWS FTR exactly?

According to Amazon,  "The AWS Foundational Technical Review (FTR) enables AWS Partners to qualify their software products that run on or integrate with AWS. It defines a set of required best practices based on the AWS Well-Architected Framework and standards for evaluating the systems architecture, operational practices, and AWS resource configurations of Partner offerings."
