Snowflake CoCo Enabled in Snowsight!
Overview
After careful review and evaluation of Snowflake's rollout of CoCo, we are pleased to announce that Snowflake CoCo has been enabled for your Snowflake account in Snowsight. CoCo is available immediately and is ready to use. No setup or configuration is required on your part.
To ensure a secure, governed, and cost effective deployment, Arkatechture has implemented the following security, access, and usage controls.
Security and Governance
- Role Based Access Control
Access to Snowflake CoCo has been enabled only for users with the following Snowflake roles:

- ACCOUNTADMIN (Arkatechture only)
- DEVELOPER (Role granted to Arkalytics customers)
- ARKA_DEVELOPER (Arkatechture only)
- Cross Region Processing
Snowflake AI models require cross region inference. To align with our security standards, cross region processing has been restricted to AWS regions within the United States only.
Cost Controls
To help prevent unexpected consumption, Arkatechture has implemented safeguards that include:
- Usage limits for Snowflake Cortex services
- Per user spending thresholds
- Additional controls to help ensure AI usage remains predictable and within acceptable limits
Monitoring
Arkatechture has implemented additional usage monitoring and alerting for Snowflake Cortex. These controls allow our Arkalytics administrators to proactively monitor usage, activity, identify unusual usage patterns, and respond quickly when necessary.
